We took a well-needed rest day awaiting our mules to arrive with the gear. We moved our camp to a site more protected from the wind and just chilled. Today was also nice, because we got to meet several other teams that would be on the mountain with us. The "Rocket Scientists" Chris, Jeremy, and Zeb along with another team of four Andy, Walt, Sebastian, and Vernon would end up being great company for the remainder of the trip. We didn't get to meet Kelly and Dave, but apparently they would also be attempting the glacier. Overall, we were feeling pretty good and itching to experience the higher camps. We checked in the ranger stations and got the go ahead from the doc to proceed with our plans to Camp 1 the following day. We decided to keep our Mountain Hardware Annapurna tent at basecamp for the remainder of the trip. We would take our Mountain Hardware EV2 to all of the higher camps.
